Before moving into gaming, I worked mainly in the healthcare industry as well as spending some time with Vodafone working on their digital experience and pre-paid portfolio.

For me, coming into this industry, I have found the control I have over my career feels really great. I feel I can shape my own career – and I would say that my employer, GiG, has given me personally the flexibility and support to complete my studies and get my degree.

I don’t think that’s just typical of GiG (although I am biased!). I would say that most companies in this industry really do believe in career development. This is the ultimate ‘perk’ of working in this industry, because you are more likely to be prepared for any role, in any industry in the future.
